Craft
every petal,
one at a time
- The flower
On Mediterraneo, every petal is embroidered as its own satin-stitch element — four petals, two light and two dark, with a gap between them. It is the slowest part of the whole piece.
- The names
Concrete is the city. Mediterraneo is the tiled wall you walk past. Feira is the Portuguese word for the open-air market, which is exactly where it belongs.
